Homework | Stage 3-A

A wee update, since it's been sloooooooooow moving here.

You'll see from our last update we now have a freshly paved drive, a small retaining wall, a coat of paint on the door, primer on the portico and handrails. We are not happy with the handrails, unfortunately. I've never shopped for them in my life, and having done it now, I can honestly say, you get what you pay for. In this case, inferior quality. So, we're at a crossroads with this particular aspect of our project. From afar, they seem fine. Which is good enough for the winter. Perhaps we'll wait until spring and see how we're feeling at that point. *sigh*. Just a disappointment. And a costly one at that.

This week, we hope to have the portico finished, light hung, numbers on door, windows installed. Crossing fingers all goes as planned.
