Uh-oh?

First, I changed my pinks to a more coral color to tie in with the red/orange colors. That's not my uh-oh, though. I'm happy with the change. What do you think? (Refer to this for previous colorway)

This is my dilemma. I've been looking at these for a while now and I'm wondering if some aren't just a little too literal for my taste- I tend to like prints that are a bit more abstracted (see where the print above is heading.) PS- did you know that those "flowers" on a dogwood tree aren't really flowers at all? They are bracts... yup, learned something new!

I am torn between my personal vision- which could take me on a lengthy and time-consuming tangent, and my merchandizing training of 15 years:  Make what I like or make what the end customer may like. If I follow the advice in the book I told y'all to buy below the answer is... make what I like.

See?  Uh-oh!

Well, I personally LOVE them!!! I am a total fabric-o-holic and I would snatch yours up in a heartbeat.

Good luck! They are just beautiful (and I am glad you changed the pink tone... now it matches beautifully with the collection).

They are lovely. I know the delima of creating what you love and trying to sell the work. It is always an issue.

I agree with Meg (Craft Inc) - make what you love. You will be proud of it no matter what the outcome is!

Amazing work! I am new to "fabric appreciation" due to my recent attempts at learning the ways of the sewing machine....and let me say...your designs are awesome! :)

morning, love the new coral colour, it ties everything together I think! The patterns you are unsure about are great, perhaps you should follow your heart so you are pleased with them?

Michelle....stick to your vision. This is your line, it needs to reflect you. If you change it to follow the masses....? It would no longer be your line, would it?

Your left side bar is coming along nicely, too :)

Absolutely make what YOU love! I think that more passion will show through that way.

But I love them all. And I'm excited for the final product!!

xo enjoy the day

Another vote for make what you love.

If you don't, you might end up with a batch of items that never sold and a head full of regrets.

When you make what you love, you never get that. Looking at what you made will always bring a smile to your face and more energy when you talk about it.

Speaking from personal experience. :)

I guess I haven't checked in for a while. I love the designs you've created and really like the new coral pink. As a quilter and a fabric addict, I can't wait to see these in the quilt shop. Keep the inspiration coming.
